MNC-HHJ type high range water reducing and retarding admixture is grayish brown powder and naphthalene-based superplasticizer, which features retarding and air-entraining. It has high water reducing rate that ranges from 15% to 25%, and it can save 15% to 20% of cement quantity.

High range water reducing and retarding admixture can retards the initial and final set of concrete, extending the initial setting time of Portland cement concrete by 2 to 3 hours at 21℃. It is also used wherever a delayed setting is needed to insure sufficient delivery, placement, vibration or compaction. Due to significant enhancing effect, retarding effect before initial set and hardening accelerating effect after final set, our product can obviously improve concrete fluidity, workability and strength of different ages. Also, concrete mixed with our product can provide high impermeability and freeze-thaw resistance.

Our high range water reducing and retarding admixture is particularly suitable for pumping concrete, commercial concrete, high-flow concrete, mass concrete and roller compacted concrete, all of which require large reduction of cement quantity and special property. Besides, it is applied to plain concrete, reinforced concrete and mass concrete in areas such as basement, wharf, dyke, tunnel, bridge, pool, water tower, etc. Complexed with silica fume or ultra-fine mineral admixture, our product can be made for high strength concrete with less than 80 carbon atoms. Also, it is widely adapted to various types of cement.

Dosage Range and Use Method
1. Dosage of high range water reducing and retarding admixture amounts to 0.4% to 1.0% of the weight of total cementitious material, while the recommended dosage is 0.5%.
2. It can be added during mix or after mix, while the latter approach is preferential.
